The cottage is just a few hundred
yards from the centre of Shaldon and beaches, with level access to the village
and amenities. There is a pleasant riverside walk along the River Teign
to the village and beaches.
The name "Bramley Cottage" comes from the large old Bramley apple
tree in the long rear, mainly lawned garden, which has the usual range of
garden furniture. There is a small garden at the front.

Downstairs, there is a lounge with three piece suite, electric fire, colour
TV and VCR. The large diner/kitchen has a microwave oven as well as electric
cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, and washing machine. It is fully equipped
with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
The downstairs bathroom has a shower as well as a bath.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: one with a double bed; one with two
singles; and one with bunk beds. All have duvets and each bedroom has extensive
storage space. A cot can be used in place of one of the single beds - this
needs to be assembled before use.
Electricity is by meter, which takes £1 coins. There is also gas central
heating which available to winter lets.
The price includes bed linen, but guests should bring their own towels.
Unless otherwise arranged, lets are from 7.00 pm on Friday and the cottage
must be vacated by 4.00pm the next Friday. This recent change has been made
by popular request, allowing guests to avoid the heavy traffic on a Saturday
morning and make better use of the weekends.
There is private and off-street parking for 1/2 cars next to the cottage.
Sorry! No dogs. No smoking
