Bramley Cottage, 58 Ringmore Road, Shaldon
Assuming you are travelling on the M5, at the end of the motorway the
M5 becomes the A38.
After a few miles, fork left onto the A380.
After a further 2 or 3 miles, take the left exit which is clearly marked
Teignmouth.
Follow this road (about 5 – 6 miles) into Teignmouth.
At the first traffic lights (a T-Junction), turn right and follow the
signs to Shaldon.
You go a few hundred yards, through pedestrian lights, then left at proper
traffic lights and over the long bridge (over the River Teign.).
Once over the bridge you are in Shaldon.
The main road turns sharply to the right – then immediately turn
right off the main road and into Ringmore Road.
Bramley Cottage (no 58) is 200 yards on the right.
Parking is across the small mini lay-by (which is also a small car park
for the nearby Shipwrights Inn). Go through the double wooden gates (usually
open) and into the parking spaces, which is shared with No 60.
If a car is parked blocking the entrance, it usually belongs to someone
in the Shipwrights Inn. Just ask in the pub and they will move immediately.
Failing that, ask at No 60.
Departure
On departure, please the key hanging on the hook in the kitchen, over
the sink.
Please leave the cottage in a clean and tidy state for the next guest.
